Zia Best

Zia Best serves as an Account Service Manager and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist for CoachSource. As an account manager since 2017, she manages 70 corporate clients and oversees more than 200 1:1, group, and team coaching engagements per year.  She works directly with global organizations to understand their business goals and to help them implement results-driven coaching programs through strategic account management and use of diverse and robust coaching pools.

As the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist, appointed in 2021, she leads CoachSource’s DE&I program. She develops goals to cultivate global leaders, attract, and retain world-class coaches, and build measurable, impactful leadership development programs. Zia steers a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Steering Committee and oversees Coach Resource Groups/Affinity Groups.

Zia is a seasoned moderator having led CoachSource’s webinar, Supporting Black Leaders Through Times of Pandemic and Injustice and Coacharya’s 2020 Awake, Aware, Arise Conference webinar titled, Awakening Our Support of Black Leaders.

Prior to CoachSource, Zia spent 12 years in academia working at Rutgers University and Princeton University in diversity and inclusion, project management, employee relations, events and communications roles. She has a background in Human Resources Management and is currently a certified Development Dimensions International facilitator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and African American Studies from Boston University.
